Jupe Javeta (they/them), our Spring 2022 grantee, is an artist, culture keeper, and community member, and the founder of Down the Street, a culturally insightful and community minded arts platform. Jupe, we can’t wait to collaborate with you this year!

Meet Our Grantees!

Our March 2023 grantee, Errant Press is an independent effort to create, print, and distribute books that challenge the traditional form and reading dynamics. Instead of bringing art into the book form, they try to free words from the codex form. Errant Press creates books meant to be read collaboratively, adopts conceptual practices, and challenges the book form using different objects as containers for texts. They also work with book artists from Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Mexico in an effort to amplify their voices and reach broader audiences.

Queerobics West Philly, one of our Spring 2024 grantees, is an accessibility-centered, collectively-run, all-levels dance aerobics class and dance theater performance all in one, led and steered by queer and trans dance artists, performers of all flavors, anti-oppression fitness folks, and chronically ill and disabled community members. Queerobics West Philly is a project that believes in creativity and deeply aligns with movement as a guiding value.
